Top End is an inland sea … great barramundi season ahead

As I write this much of the Top End is an inland sea … it looks like a great barra season lays ahead for 2014.

The Mary River floodplain (Shady Camp), East and South Alligator Rivers, the Adelaide, Daly and Victoria Rivers have all been well soaked. The Vic looks like having a great year ahead.

The Roper River had not had much rain however, as of last week.

If this rain keeps up, 2014 will be a good year to fish the famous Top End of Australia.

Take a look at these pix of the Adelaide River at the Arnhem Highway (you’ll need to sign into FFF to see them).
